EPD: Man arrested after driving 111 mph on Lloyd Expressway

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Police Department officials say a man is in jail after driving 60 miles over the speed limit on the Lloyd Expressway.

According to an affidavit, officers clocked a vehicle traveling on the Lloyd Expressway near the Fulton Avenue ramp going 111 mph in a 50-mph zone on Sunday around 4:25 p.m.

Officials say the driver, later identified as Sergio Rascoe, had driven through a large group of cars and weaved in and out of them to get through them quicker.

When police pulled him over, they asked him how fast he thought he was going, which he replied that he was traveling around 100.

He told officers he had to go pick up his kids…
