EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The Samuel Huggler trial continues with testimony from the man police say Huggler hired to shoot at his family in 202 which left his 18-year-old sister Olivia Huggler dead.
On Tuesday, that shooter testified. It’s been nearly five years since a shooting on Kirkwood Drive left one person dead.
Daniel Alvey pleaded guilty to the shooting in 2023, but claims he was hired by the victim’s brother, Samuel Huggler, to commit the murder. During Huggler’s trial, Alvey says he idolized him and Alvey says Huggler had a bad relationship with one of his brothers…
