VANDERBURGH CO., Ind. (WFIE) – Vanderburgh County deputies say they arrested a man with meth and a gun after they pulled him over for speeding while a child was in the vehicle.
Around 7 p.m. Tuesday, deputies say they stopped Andrew Lee, 48, for going 72 mph in a posted 60 mph area of Highway 41.
Authorities say they asked Lee if they could search his truck, but that he told them no. They say they brought K9 Dozer to the scene of the stop, and that Dozer alerted on the truck for the presence of drugs.
During a search, deputies say they found a pistol and two magazines in the middle console. Underneath it, they say they also found a bag of about 38 grams of meth…
