Kentucky transportation officials say twin bridges are safe

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Traffic is moving again across the twin bridges in Henderson.

State highway crews re-opened all southbound lanes on Monday after inspections led to temporary repairs. Despite that good news, a picture showing a crack in the structure is still causing concern online.

These pictures started making the rounds last week. They show what look like cracks in the structure and a concrete block wedged underneath for support.
