HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – An Evansville man will serve the next nine years in prison after pleading guilty to a shooting at a hotel last year.
Treyvone Hooks was originally charged after he was accused of shooting a woman at the Howard Johnson Hotel on Green River Road.
Police say the victim agreed to meet up with Hooks at the hotel over text. The victim claimed Hooks pointed a gun at her when he entered her hotel room and told her to “get on the bed.” The victim claimed she refused and said back, “No, you’re gonna have to kill me,” before texting for help…
