SPENCER COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) — After learning about Katelynn Austin’s battle with leukemia, the students and staff of her old elementary school raised over $1,500.
Austin is currently in college studying to become a nurse. She is also battling leukemia. After hearing the news of Austin’s health, the school’s student council thought it should raise money for her so it held a hot chocolate fundraiser.
