HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A person wanted by authorities was arrested in Vanderburgh County following a short chase.
According to the sheriff’s office, at about 6:41 p.m. on Sunday, deputies saw a Chevrolet Silverado commit a traffic violation near the intersection of U.S. 41 and Virginia Street. A traffic stop was reportedly attempted near Oak Holl Road and Columbia Street, but the driver fled.
Officials state deputies pursued the truck for about five minutes before briefly losing sight of it. The truck was later found near Haven Drive and Morgan Avenue. However, the driver, later identified as Larry Scott Porter II, had fled on foot…
