EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Commuters on U.S. 41 should prepare for traffic shifts starting next week as the Indiana Department of Transportation begins a three-week maintenance project.
Starting on or around Monday, March 30, crews will alternate lane closures on both the northbound and southbound passing lanes of U.S. 41. The work zone spans the stretch of highway between Diamond Avenue and the Lloyd Expressway.
INDOT officials stated the closures are necessary for additional pipe work following a recent project inspection. While the passing lanes will be restricted, the driving and center lanes will remain open to traffic throughout the duration of the repairs…
