WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) — An abandoned home is destroyed after a fire in Warrick County.
Officials with Warrick County Dispatch say they got a call about a fire around 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Officials with the Boonville Fire Department say the home has been abandoned for some time, and no one was hurt in the fire.
Firefighters say the owner was cleaning the home in attempt to rent it out, and a burn pile was made in the front yard. Officials say they suspect the fire spared from the burn pit to the home.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire. The fire was out in 45 minutes…
