Events aim to expand access to medical cannabis cards in Kentucky

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Kentucky Cannabis Industry Association will be hosting a series of patient drive events across the state throughout April and May to help Kentuckians who qualify for a medical cannabis card navigate the registration process.

A release from KCIA says their KY Patient Drives initiative is committed to making the process of obtaining certification from a licensed medical cannabis practitioner and registering through the state’s official portal as accessible and affordable as possible. Officials say most drives connect patients with a qualifying medical appointment for $25.
