BOONVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Repairs are once again needed at the Boonville Warrick County Public Library after a vehicle crashed into the building. The incident occurred just before Noon on April 16 with patrons and workers in the building at the time of the crash. Boonville Police say the driver was traveling westbound on Main Street as it ran through the parking lot and into a glass window section of the library.

It is not clear what prompted the driver to go off of the roadway. While everyone inside the building was safe, police say the man was taken to a local hospital but the extent of his injuries are not known.
A similar incident took place nearly 8 years to the day when another vehicle crashed into the library in April of 2018. The library’s director provided an update jus a few hours after the incident, saying the area was cleaned and the library would open as normal on April 17…
