EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A cute story from Evansville’s east side where several people jump in to help rescue some ducklings who found themselves in a tough spot.
A 14 News viewer called to tell us about this story along Burkhardt Road near Maxwell Avenue. She was in stopped in a fast food parking lot when she saw a mother duck and her ducklings trying to cross a storm grate and over to a street. She and most of the ducklings were able to cross a storm grate – except for one!
The frantic mother duck went back to the storm grate – and that’s when three more ducklings fell in!…
