HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The city of Jasper has announced that the former clerk-treasurer has passed away.
Juanita Boehm served as clerk-treasurer for 24 years, first taking office in 1996. Officials say she became a cornerstone of city operations, recognized for her meticulous management of the city’s finances and her strong commitment to fiscal transparency. Officials say upon her retirement in 2019, she was honored by the city for her decades of service.
“Juanita was more than a public official; she was a devoted servant of the City of Jasper,” says current Clerk-Treasurer Kiersten Knies. “Her 24 years of service helped shape the foundationof our city’s financial strength, and her presence in City Hall will be deeply missed by all whohad the privilege of working alongside her.”…
