GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) – Gibson County Sheriff’s Office officials say a man is in jail after hitting a brick mailbox while driving drunk.
According to a press release, deputies and other law enforcement officers were standing outside the FastBreak Convenience Store located at the intersection of Oak Street and U.S. 41 in Fort Branch.
Deputies say they saw a truck traveling eastbound past the store. The vehicle then made a wide left turn onto U.S. 41 headed northbound and struck a brick mailbox on the east side of the roadway…
