One in custody following standoff in Vanderburgh County

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind (WEHT) – What started as a domestic violence call ends with one in custody following a standoff in Vanderburgh County.

The situation happened in the 2300 block of Dusseldorf Drive.

Sheriff Noah Robinson spoke with our crew while authorities were assessing the situation and says the female victim was reported safe, but the suspect was refusing to cooperate and barricaded himself inside. He also states there was reason to believe the man is intoxicated…
