HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — It’s now been one week since employees at Oakland City University were expecting to get their pay checks.
Employees were supposed to be paid last Friday but were not. The university says it was due to a bank transfer taking longer than expected.
Oakland City University confirms it’s not closing
Earlier this week, university leaders addressed concerns about the school’s future. They say they’ve reached a partnership agreement with a corporation to help keep the school open next year.
Details about that agreement have not been released. Meanwhile, employees are still waiting to be paid one week later…
