EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – EVSC officials say they’ve seen success from an academic program, designed to help some local seniors, as they prepare to graduate.
AVID, which stands for “Advancement Via Individual Determination”, is a four year program. It focuses on providing first generation college bound students, or those from underrepresented populations, with academic support and mentorship.
