LILLINGTON, N.C. (WNCN) — Cape Fear Valley Health has opened a mental health center for juveniles in Harnett County, hospital officials said.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on May 22 to mark the official opening of Cape Fear Valley Dorothea Dix Adolescent Care – Lillington, located on the campus of Central Harnett Hospital at 186 Crested Iris Drive in Lillington, according to hospital officials.
According to hospital officials, the new facility will provide psychiatric care for juveniles between the ages of 12 and 17 and support the needs of their families. It will serve families in surrounding areas, including Fort Bragg, Fayetteville and Raleigh…
