An alleged impaired driver struck several vehicles and damaged property at Legends at Morganton Park in Southern Pines Saturday night.
Southern Pines Police arrested the female driver.
According to residents at the apartment complex, the driver allegedly came over a curb at the front of the clubhouse and onto the sidewalk. She then allegedly drove down the sidewalk, striking several cars, a large power transformer, and a small brick wall. The driver was finally stopped when law enforcement boxed her in as she exited the complex’s main gate.
According to residents, they were still trying to notify the owners of all the damaged vehicles.
No injuries were reported, and the driver was not transported to the hospital…
