Fayetteville nonprofit announces Inasmuch Village, a permanent housing community for homeless Veterans

Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch (Inasmuch) announced today the development of Inasmuch Village, a new 16-cottage community that will provide permanent housing for homeless veterans in Fayetteville. A groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 19, 2026, with the first residents expected to move in in 2027.

Located near Inasmuch’s campus at 531 Hillsboro Street, Inasmuch Village will consist of 16 fully furnished one-bedroom cottages, including 12 accessible homes and four homes specially designed for individuals with disabilities. Residents will pay rent on a sliding scale based on 30% of their income, with applications administered through Inasmuch.
