NORTH CAROLINA, USA — Three people, including a 7-year-old, were killed due to fireworks-related incidents during the Fourth of July, according to the North Carolina State Fire Marshal.
During the holiday, firefighters across the state responded to a total of 27 fireworks-related incidents. Of those, 22 were residential fires, 3 were commercial property fires, and 2 were vehicle fires, the fire marshal said.
