Neighbors who called 911 on Fayetteville mother before deadly crash speak out as she returns to court

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Neighbors who called 911 on a Fayetteville woman they believed was in distress are now speaking publicly after police say she later crashed her vehicle, killing her three young sons.

Megan Scott appeared in court Monday on misdemeanor charges connected to the June 3 incident. Cameras were not allowed inside the courtroom.

Scott is already facing three felony counts of involuntary manslaughter in connection with a crash on Cedar Creek Road that killed her sons, identified in court records as Ju’mari Thomas, Jack Thomas IV and Jaecoda Thomas…
