Wawa could be adding another location in Fayetteville as the convenience store chain continues its expansion across North Carolina. According to a report from FayToday News, a new store has been proposed for 8444 Raeford Road, near the intersection of Raeford Road and Hoke Loop Road in western Fayetteville.
The publication reports that the proposal was recently reviewed by the City of Fayetteville Technical Review Committee and remains in the planning stages. Construction has not yet begun.
If approved, the store would join Wawa’s existing Fayetteville location at 3613 Raeford Road and its Hope Mills travel center at 630 Chicken Foot Road. FayToday News reports the proposed store would become the company’s third location in Cumberland County…
