Cumberland County Unveils Online Permitting Tools for Efficiency, Transparency

Cumberland County Planning & Inspections rolled out web-based tools on July 2. According to the Cumberland Country N.C. website, the new system helps residents and business owners get permits faster. Customers can now submit applications via the EnerGov Permit Self Services window.

Three departments use the platform: Planning & Inspections, Environmental Health, and the Fire Marshal’s Office. People can reach the system two ways—through the department’s webpage or the EnerGov Citizens’ Self Service Portal.
