The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation (ASOMF) Board of Directors recently announced the appointment of Margaret Britten as executive director. Britten’s appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Foundation, one built on the extraordinary legacy of her predecessor, Renee Lane, who is retiring after seven years of dedicated and transformative service.
Under Lane’s leadership from 2019 through 2026, the Foundation grew in reach, impact and community presence, helping establish ASOMF as a vital institution within the Fayetteville and military communities. To honor her legacy, the Renee Lane Endowment for the ASOM Foundation has been established through the Cumberland Community Foundation at cumberlandcf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=8300.
