Fayetteville State University landed a $6.5 million pledge from an Anonymous Trust to fund summer courses at no cost. It’s the biggest donation the school has ever received, according to an FSU news release.
The funds will pay tuition, housing, and meals for students who sign up for the 30-60-90 Free Summer School Program. This marks the trust’s second major investment in FSU within three years, surpassing the earlier $5.8 million commitment from 2022 that bankrolled student success programs.
