Army Road in Hoke County will shut down for two months beginning Aug. 3 at 7 a.m. The N.C. Department of Transportation contractors plan to close a stretch near N.C. 211 while they construct the eastbound lane and revamp the intersection, according to a release. This closure is tied to the N.C. Highway 211 widening work.
Montrose Road and Calloway Road will serve as detours. Drivers must reroute during construction.
