A woman in North Carolina says she was walking along a road Saturday morning when she was abducted by two men, punched in the face and later left near a cemetery, the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office said.

The woman told authorities that one man pulled her into a van that was either black or blue and driven by another man. She said she was punched in the eye and assaulted with a knife before she was dumped near the cemetery, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Deputies responded Saturday morning to the intersection of Oakdale Gin Road and Scott Currie Road, where they found the woman in the grass on the side of the road, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries…
