A driver in Cumberland County has been charged days after a 2-year-old was killed and a 4-year-old seriously hurt while they were playing in a toy car.
Deputies said 18-year-old Abinijah Lavon Lewis veered off Mena Drive in Fayetteville on Thursday, hitting the two children, who were in the toy and being pulled by their mother on the road shoulder.
