Brewed awakening: Dutch Bros lands in Fayetteville

Before the sun rose May 3, the Ramsey Street Dutch Bros Coffee quietly opened its doors at 5 a.m. in Fayetteville.

Anticipation has been building for months in the city, particularly among the military community, which includes many transplants from Dutch Bros-heavy western U.S. states. The company did not formally announce the Fayetteville opening, instead quietly listing the date on its website within the store’s location page.

The location is part of the company’s expansion into the Carolinas following its acquisition of Clutch Coffee Bar earlier this year. The site at 3619 Ramsey St. was previously tied to that deal and is among the former Clutch stores being converted into Dutch Bros shops.
