Our next cold front is steadily marching our way, and as soon as early Wednesday a few showers will become a possibility. Large intervals of Wednesday will be dry, but by the end of the day, a pretty good coverage of scattered showers and storms looks likely in the mountains and the foothills. That more active zone of showers and storms will then spread into the rest of the region Wednesday night into Thursday. It appears the rainfall distribution could be pretty uneven around the region. However, there should be some corridors that pick up over an inch of rain. Hopefully, many spots will get some beneficial totals. Friday will be cooler and dry.
