Chase suspect charged in crash that injured baby, 2 women in North Carolina

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (WNCN) — A Sanford woman is facing eight charges, including possessing fentanyl and meth, after a Saturday morning chase that ended in a Southern Pines crash, injuring a baby and two women, deputies said.

Although her license was previously revoked, the 32-year-old suspect was spotted by a deputy Saturday morning “driving recklessly” in a Chevrolet Impala on Magnolia Drive in Aberdeen, according to a Moore County Sheriff’s Office arrest warrant.
