Wife of Lee County sheriff-elect arrested on domestic violence charge

OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) – The wife of Lee County Sheriff-elect Cam Hunt was arrested on a domestic violence charge, according to Opelika police.

Allison Duke with the Opelika Police Department confirmed Aggie Kalyn Hunt, 36, was arrested on a Domestic Violence III charge. Her bond was set at $1,000 with an active bond status.

Hunt was booked in the Lee County Jail at midnight. According to Alabama law, domestic violence charges require a 24-hour hold before inmates can be released from jail. Hunt will be eligible for release at midnight tonight…
