A school bus company based in Plymouth has announced 125 layoffs after losing a contract to provide services to a nearby district.
First Student in Plymouth informed the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) that it would be permanently closing its facility at 15625 32nd Ave. N. and laying off the workers from July 31.
The company reported that the closure is “due to the loss of a contract with Wayzata Public School District.”…
