(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) and the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) helped rescue a baby red-tailed hawk after it fell from its nest atop a four-story building on Sunday, May 24.
According to CPW, wildlife officers responded to a building on the north side of Colorado Springs and assessed the juvenile hawk for injuries. After ensuring the baby was healthy, a CSFD ladder truck was used to return it to its nest.
