A 57-year-old Fairfield man died Saturday after falling from a downtown Birmingham parking deck, according to authorities.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Roderick Eugene McMickens.
Officials said McMickens suffered blunt force injuries in the incident, which happened around 11:16 a.m. in the 300 block of 21st Street South. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:28 a.m…
