Gwinnett County honors fallen heroes during Memorial Day ceremony

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Gwinnett County leaders, law enforcement officials, veterans, and community members gathered Monday to honor the service and sacrifice of fallen military personnel and public safety officers during the county’s annual Memorial Day ceremony.

Originally planned outdoors, the event was moved inside due to weather conditions. Despite the change in venue, organizers said the purpose of the ceremony remained unchanged: remembering those who gave their lives in service and supporting the families they left behind.
