Purdue Farm Management Tour returns this July

What better way to see farm management tools in action than to hear from farmers firsthand? The Purdue Farm Management Tour offers exactly that: a chance to learn from farmers right on their farm. The tour, hosted by Purdue University’s Center for Commercial Agriculture and Purdue Extension, returns this July after a brief hiatus last year.

For the first time ever, the tour will call Harrison County, Ind., its home, drawing visitors to two host farms: Jones Farm and Jmax Cattle.

“We have not had a tour in this county before,” said Michael Langemeier, director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture. “We also wanted to have at least one beef operation on this year’s tour and to highlight popcorn production.”
