GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. — Another round of severe weather swept through North Florida this afternoon, prompting a tornado warning for parts of Liberty, Gadsden and Decatur counties as radar indicated a possible tornado near Quincy.
The National Weather Service said radar picked up a radar-indicated tornado just northwest of Quincy about 1 p.m., with some damage reported in Quincy. While the tornado appeared not to touch down in the Mount Pleasant community, heavy rain caused problems in Quincy.
Eddie Lovett, who lives in Gretna, described the intensity of the rain as the storm moved in: “I mean it rained so hard you couldn’t even, just white. You can just look out the window just see white.”…
