LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Lafayette man was hospitalized early Sunday morning after he was shot while confronting two suspects attempting to break into his vehicle, according to the Lafayette Police Department.
Authorities reported officers responded to a home on West Butcher Switch Road near Salvador Drive on Sunday, May 25, around 1:45 a.m.
