The Scio Township Fire Department responded on Memorial Day to I-94 at the Parker Road overpass on the report of someone threatening to jump.
The emergency call came in on that Monday, May 25, at around 12:45 p.m. The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) sent out an alert at 12:50 p.m. that day that the road was closed due to an incident. The Sun Times News followed up with Scio Township Fire Chief Andrew Houde.
