Massive wellness festival brings 1,000+ fit people to the pier this weekend

Few things have been more explosively popular over the last few years than workout clubs, and one of the region’s biggest clubs is hosting a full-on festival to celebrate sweat and community. The Club Wellness Festival (powered by Celsius, naturally) is expected to draw more than 1,000 people to the St. Pete Pier this Sunday, May 31, for four hours of exercise, recovery, and fun under the sun.

This is the third iteration of the festival hosted by The Club Tampa Bay, a wellness social club. The experience, taking place from 11 am – 2 pm, is centered around the workout mainstage, where pilates and yoga classes will be led by local instructors. Surrounding the massive workout area will be a cold plunge zone, an entire “sauna village,” and a hydration and recovery zone. There will also be dozens of fitness and wellness vendors on hand showcasing their variety of goods and services.

Tickets are $35 for individuals or $60 for two people, and include access to the full festival grounds as well as the classes and amenities. Multiple DJs will be on hand with high-energy music to keep the heart rates pumping, and there will also be food and drink samples spread throughout. Learn more and get tickets here.

The festival itself takes place on the end of the St. Pete Pier, which makes for a particularly inspiring locale to get your sweat on. And jokes aside from the headline, it’s a great to place to start, continue or change up your fitness journey. Clubs like this have made exercise not only more accessible, but filled with encouragement by being part of a community. We’re all looking for a space to belong and meet like-minded people. For those passionate (or even just interested) about wellness, this is a great starting spot…
