MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man pleaded guilty to murder after a fatal East Memphis shooting nearly six years ago, according to the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office.
Deleon Pierce, 42, pleaded guilty to the shooting death of Joshua Jenkins in June 2020 in East Memphis.
In June 2020, officers said Joshua Jenkins was found with gunshot wounds on South Highland Street.
