Louisville Fire Department faces aging equipment, buildings under proposed budget

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In Mayor Craig Greenberg’s proposed $1.35 billion budget, the Louisville Fire Department would receive $85 million, an increase of nearly $3 million from last year.

In total, the department has $30 million in deferred maintenance across its buildings.
