DUSON, La. (KLFY) — There was a residential fire in Duson at approximately 4 p.m. on Memorial Day. The Duson Fire Department was dispatched to the 200 block of Stanwell Ave.
Upon arrival, fire crews found a gas grill on fire under the back patio of the house, officials said. Firefighters made their way into the backyard where they removed the grill and extinguished the fire on the grill.
Officials said the homeowners were home at the time but were not able to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher and that there is moderate damage to the siding and soffit of the back patio…
