Taiwanese chain 85°C Bakery Cafe expands to Minnesota

Taiwanese chain 85°C Bakery Cafe is expanding to Minnesota and the first location will open this week.

The cafe, which specializes in Guatemalan specialty coffee, artisans breads, pastries and gourmet cakes, is one of roughly a dozen dining spots opening Friday inside Blaine’s new Asia Village development at the Northtown Mall.

The opening marks the Twin Cities debut of another major international bakery chain arriving from overseas.
