Arkansas Film Casting Call Seeks Real-Life EMTs, Officers, Reporters

A new film project is casting in central Arkansas, and producers are looking for locals with real-world emergency response and media experience to appear on screen.

According to a Facebook post from The Agency, Inc., casting is now underway for a “tense, darkly comedic crime thriller” described as blending “the frantic desperation of Bonnie and Clyde with the unsettling social satire of Parasite and Funny Games.”

The film follows two small-time criminals, Darlene and James, after a robbery goes wrong. While hiding out in the countryside and tending to a gunshot wound, the pair take shelter at an isolated estate, only to discover their seemingly charming hosts may be hiding disturbing secrets of their own…
