Chattanooga seeks $17M federal grant to expand safety on high-injury corridors

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Chattanooga is seeking just over $17 million in federal funding to make some of the city’s most dangerous roads safer.

The Chattanooga City Council approved a resolution Tuesday to apply for a federal Safe Streets for All grant worth $17.1 million.
