Roads closed in Laurens County during severe flooding, officials say

LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Laurens County Emergency Management reports several roads are closed due to severe flooding on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Laurens County until 1 a.m. on Wednesday.

Officials said the following roads are closed or impassable:

  • East Main Street at Mills Street – City of Laurens
  • Mills Street at Gordon Street – City of Laurens
  • Jones Street at Caroline Street – City of Laurens
  • Fleming Street at Oak Street – City of Laurens
  • East Main Steet at the Starbucks – City of Laurens
  • East Main Street at the Little River – City of Laurens
  • Fleming Mill Road at Snake Trail – Laurens County
  • Washington Street – City of Clinton
  • South Livingston Street – City of Clinton
  • Elm Street – City of Clinton
