Harrisburg Teen Faces Court in Boyfriend’s Stabbing Death

A 17-year-old from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Dalaysia Terrell-Brown, appeared in Dauphin County court on Tuesday (May 26) for a preliminary hearing regarding the alleged stabbing and killing of her boyfriend, 18-year-old Tamar Shaw. Terrell-Brown is accused of fatally stabbing Shaw and posting Instagram videos showing her holding a knife.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at Terrell-Brown’s sister’s home in Allison Hill. Terrell-Brown called 911 requesting an ambulance, and Shaw was transported to the hospital, where he later died from a single stab wound to the chest. The Dauphin County Coroner’s Office ruled Shaw’s death a homicide, noting that the stab wound required significant force.

During the court hearing, multiple witnesses testified, including Terrell-Brown’s best friend and several Harrisburg police officers.
